IMPOSSIBLE VINEYARDS

white / red

The Impossible Vineyards wine,  Castelão (Red / 2015), comes from a century-old vineyard in the Melides region, planted on its own roots in a very deep and cool soil composed of black sand, where the ocean breeze can be felt to the west.

For this project, the visual artist Jason Martin created the label for a limited series of Impossible Vineyards bottles.

The wine is a marvel of austerity, toughness, dryness, dry extract, and freshness, an old-fashioned wine that reveals a timeless profile.
